The gungame throwing knives mod is pretty awesome, and I think it could fit well on the arena server. Basically the weak knife attack is replaced by a thrown knife that does ~55 dmg per hit. Of course, the number of throwing knives is limited, and can only be replenished with a successful knife kill.
