ping limits
DeathbyRooRoo
i have heard everyone try to argue with me that the latency of another player does not directly affect other players however this is incorrect, the server has to interpret the info from all players then send that info back out to all players so if a player is at a ping of 135 or more, every player on the server below 100 feels the lag to do the information being processed back out due to the delay of that higher ping player. while i know that dogz want to keep a very open and inclussive server even for our foreign counterparts its not helpful under any circumstance to keep an entire server feeling lag to include players that honestly cause more problems than good simply byu their presence. I have found that people hate the truth and hate to acknowledge it. i would ask humbly and respectfully please, please, please lower the ping limiter and make the dogz server a better server to play on without all the lag and packet loss caused by high ping players.

I have brought this to the attention of multiple admins and have been brushed off or told i dont know what im talking about even though the program proves my point beyond a shadow of a doubt. so once again, however here openly on the forum lower the ping limit at least to 130 and below, if not at least 110 and below while it may decrease the number players overall, it will increase overall reputation for cleaner, faster and more competitive gaming on dogz.
