Tried to play this morning, didn't see any of the servers

It was down all morning and I did a shoutout as well. The server keeps going down weekly and the reg has been really weird . I did post earlier asking if there was a better rates and dint receive any response either. I wish the community was a little more engaged. There are lot of thing not going well on the server off late and no one seems to be fixing it either |

What do you mean no one is fixing stuff?
At least our servers are working after the update. I had to re-install the entire OS system, restore the servers from backups, update mods and rewrite custom plugin code. On top of that I implemented our stats system and update our automated backup systems to handle the stats data.
It takes a hell of a lot to just keep the servers online. So yes someone is fixing stuff and all you have said is your registration is off. If there are other problems I asked for them to be reported. Please report the issues and maybe I can solve the problems.

I dint state server is down ( reality is its down weekly) but what I was trying to point and its very specific. the rates are not same after the rebuild. It can vary based on server rebuild optimization etc which might warrant newer rates. My question was specific around the rates which no one has answered yet based on recent optimization. I have rebuilt server several times and i know its not straight forward task but my question wasn't around what you did but the info related to optimization. Hope that clarifies |

Tex I just didn't appreciate the complaining with no real info. Nothing has changed with source servers when it comes to network rates. The games is very old and the rates are always set to the max that Source can handle. I have heard a few people complaining about client issues after the update, perhaps reach out to Steam support.
The servers reboot once a week automatically, that process takes no longer than 5-10 minutes. |

Tiger , if you consider what I am stating as complaining then I have nothing more to add here. Probably this is the first time I have raised what I felt was occurring onn the server feedback with my limited knowledge. As I mentioned earlier all these years (since 2015 etc) I used the rates provide by the server ( https://www.dogzg...ad_id=942) and it worked well for me. After the update I do see a change overall, its not just me lot of others on the server have mentioned it as well. I cant provide real info as I cant run stats on the server but the only feedback as a player, who is regular on the server. If you feel I am just complaining for complaining sake ( as you mentioned without real info that's what I infer) this will be the last post I am adding here. Thanks
