Suggestion for long time players.

Hello all,
I would like to suggest some changes that would be well received in the community I think!
First, there is 2 or 3 maps that everyone despise ( At least I do and I know a lot of people who would agree).
It would be nice to remove them from the rotation. The two that comes to mind are:
gg_minecraft
420_shotgun.
Everyone complains each times it comes up.
Those are the 2 main one on top of my mind. Feel free to add some more peeps!
Second, The RTV fonction is almost useless because the number of people required to activate it is like 90% of the server. Could it be possible to reduce the % to something smaller so it would be possible to change map mor fairly when no admins are around?
Lastly, I would love to add some maps to the server if thats possible! My suggestion are :
gg_corner_v7 (https://gamebanana.com/maps/24955)
gg_punishment (https://gamebanana.com/maps/20471)
Also if any other users would like to add some add it to this tread!
I know scorp would love to play scoutknives ( Ithink it's called that)

YEEEES gg corner is amazing!!! We definitely need this map!!! and for punisment I guess it could be nice too
And for Angry's yes I agreed, he is an awesome admin, and I really think since he try to put some *new* maps, people tend to stay more longer to play on the server

I 100% agree with everything you said but you forgot one major garbage map that literally no one likes: gg_em_crossfire. This map needs to go. I don't believe anyone would miss it.
Also, I think it would be beneficial to move some often-requested maps into the normal rotation, such as gg_fast_battle, gg_aim_shotty and gg_simpsons_glock_tok.

I do like those 2 maps you suggested. They look pretty good. I am wondering if we have any resources to make the suggestions shown in this thread.

What about a list of 4 or 5 maps that everyone votes on in the server before the end of the match. Which ever map has the most votes that's the map it goes to? Any thoughts?
EDIT.... The dogz server on csgo has the map voting im talking about

The DoGz [GunGame DM] Turbo server is setup for map voting. This was our most popular server for so many years. In the end people didn't seem to want all the variety.
I can defiantly change some of the maps in the rotation. |

I know this is an old thread but Tiger if you ever find the time to add new maps/remove garbage ones from the rotation that would be greatly appreciated by everyone in the community. The server always becomes more alive when popular non-rotation maps are put on by admins. On the flipside, a shit map like "gg_em_crossfire" tends to kill the server unless there is an admin there to change it.
I think these changes could help increase the population of the server and lead to more people being inclined to donate to keep it up and running.

If you remove maps from rotation, please keep in mind that there are also people who enjoy playing the "shit maps".

Fair enough. Obviously the server is called "funtimes/iceworld" so you should expect that style of map to be in the rotation. Personally I think it is a nice change of pace when an admin pops in and is able to take requests for other maps. The other DoGz servers that have the other maps aren't nearly as populated so I don't see a problem with making non-iceworld style maps playable in the rotation.
As far as your point on the "shit maps," I understand that map preference is subjective but I can think of 2-3 maps off the top of my head that tend to kill the server and several of the regular playerbase hate with a passion. Even if these maps were removed hyopthically, if anyone wanted to play on them they could just request an admin put them on. Personally I think this is a good move

I noticed that there are new added maps to the funtimes server. I noticed the maps that bucket suggested is now on rotation (gg_corner_v7, gg_punishment). Also, simpsons glock tok is also in rotation. It is a nice change of pace.
I want to assume that Tiger made the changes unless if the server developed some type of artificial intelligence and started adding maps. Can you confirm Tiger? What other maps were added or deleted?

That would be a interesting concept. The server could track players behaviors, patterns, most weapon used, amount of players, most camping spots, and decide which map suits better and pick it from a pool of unused maps.

Can we chill a bit on corners and fast battle? I'm tired of that being the two primary maps we play...like every 3rd-4th map feels like it is one of those two when admins are on. Probably an unpopular opinion...just tired of them and they make my wrists hurt from not having a split second to relax. I would think that since we have admins, we would want to play the maps that we dont get to play often. Some admins do this, others just change it to their favorite couple maps. I'm being intention not to point fingers specifically.
To continue my gripe, any good knifing map is always changed too  Like the one with all the boxes.
I loved these maps for a while - but that was a while ago...Am I the only one tired of these maps?

This map pack has alot of good fast pace small maps that i would like to be added to the server. I used to play these on other on other servers also has another corner map since everyone loves playing it might as well add another so we can have two different ones.
